Titles & captions
Add narrative structure to your chart using a title, subtitle, caption, and source.
These elements help explain what your chart is showing and why it matters — especially when it’s shared or embedded without further context.
✅ How to add titles, captions, and more
You'll find all these options in the Elements section of the right-hand toolbar:
Header
Title → Main headline for your chart
Subtitle → Optional context line beneath the title
Footer
Caption → Add supporting notes, commentary, or clarifications
Source → Cite the origin of the data
Logo → Display your company logo (if uploaded)
💡 All elements are optional — turn them on or off individually to suit your use case.
✨ Use AI to generate titles & descriptions
You can also ask Graphy’s AI (left panel) to help write or rewrite:
A clear, meaningful chart title
A concise subtitle that frames the chart
A helpful caption to explain what to look for or why it matters
💬 Try prompts like:
“Write a title for this chart”
“Summarise this data in one sentence”
